Frank brings a special passion to our work at CMG. With more than forty years' experience as a financial advisor in the insurance industry, and having experienced the unexpected sale of his own family's 100-year-old business, Frank founded Creaghan McConnell Group Ltd. in 1987. His specific aim in establishing CMG was to help business-owning families plan for their own successful transitions. He brings the same dedication, energy, and enthusiasm to our work today as he brought to the founding of the company.

Frank has always been future oriented-perhaps that's why he understands so well the connection between key planning principles and family business success. For the past twenty years, as a partner with Creaghan McConnell Group Ltd., Frank has overseen key stages of the planning process, using his expertise to guide our clients in their business transition planning.

Frank is a graduate of McGill University (B.Comm., 1952) and has served in numerous industry roles, including Chair, TOT Advisory Board in 1996. Frank is also a charter member of TOT, and a founding member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriting (CALU). Frank and his wife Sheelagh have four children and nine grandchildren (not enough!).
